Job Description:
As an Accountant at CEMOS CIMENT S.A, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the financial health of our organization. Your expertise in accounting principles and financial analysis will be critical in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Perform financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
